This is a model build I have been working on for the last few days in between posting and writing and other life stuff.
The Chevelle model I mentioned above that I built last month.

The last couple of days I have been working on an El Camino. I like to follow bidding sites for Salvage cars and I also follow Classic car sites. Since I started on the Chevelle I realized how much I liked the body style. I drove taxi at one time and owned two Chevy Malibu/Chevell’s. I also owned a 72 malibu as well. I found a flood damaged 72 El Camino on one site I follow and another 72 that had been mounted on a Blazer (I checked the measurements; it could not have been mounted on a stock Blazer as the wheelbase would not even have been close. A full-size GM Pickup would have been a better bet or an S10 which would have been near perfect. In any case it had to be a lot of work.) frame. Hmm, guess this one will be on a blazer frame (I have since added a modified S10 4×4 frame). Having fun building it! #elcamino #3dmodeling #OFX #DellSweet #RadSandbox
The S10 frame sectioned and modified with full-size GM Leaf Spring axels front and rear…

I am having fun with it and it will be available both as a low-slung car and a high rider 4×4 when I finish. I am currently working on custom bumpers for the 4×4 version.
